I hate Rogers Wireless and I love Fridays

My Friday started with a phone call to Rogers to figure out why did they overcharge my by $90. The phone call no less than 40 minutes. If any of the Rogers employees will ever read this post here is what I have to say:

  • Your automatic voice recognition system, that repeats everything I say and then asks if it is correct, can drive insane even a Buddhist monk
  • Why in the world after going through a torture of your automatic filtering do I have to repeat all the info to the live sales rep?
  • Why every conversation starts with: “Can I get your phone number, starting with the area code, please?” May be “hello” would work better
  • Why do you have different reps for every single product why can’t a person in wireless know something about billing for Blackberry?
  • Why do I have to repeat the same info to each agent I get transferred?
  • Why do I have to spend 40 minutes of my precious time on your mistakes - and not to get an apology ( a free month of service would do)

You might wonder if I hate your service so much, why am I still your customer. The reason is simple I have no choice with only two company being in the market and Rogers being a company offering GSM service. However, know that whenever a new company will show up - I won’t think twice about cancelling all my services with Rogers.

Actions speak louder than words, I don’t expect anything extra-ordinary. Stop talking about customer service satisfaction rating and just let me see it.

Oh well who cares ITS FRIDAY!
